"crazysexycool" is a short drawing series/set of three drawings of a few of my favorite women in art:

Hannah Wilke, Susan Sontag and Patti Smith

Their portraits are inside of frames painted with thick black polyurethane. The glass of the frame is then drawn over with

ink and covered in wax. This way, the ink is sealed, wet, underneath the wax giving each of these drawings a

bit of "life" running through them, hopefully in some way keeping them alive forever (or in Patti's case, for as

long as possible
